Accommodation

   Minimize

The Craig's Camping & Training Centre has both indoor and outdoor accommodation options.  You can go indoor with Cadell House or the smaller Joe Hall Chalet. 

Outdoors you have a choice of over ten different and unique camping sites, suitable for patrol camping.  Each site has its own water supply and wooden dining shelter.

In addition we have 2 teepees for an unusual activity venue.

Cadell House

   Minimize

This is a recently refurbished (2009) two-storey building sleeping up to 38. 

Accommodation

2 dormitories with bunkbeds sleeping 12 and 16 respectively. 

2 smaller rooms suitable for leaders or families sleeping 6 and 4 respectively.  The main hall which is situated on the top floor is suitable for indoor games, crafts or training courses.

Facilities

Kitchen: Fully equipped with 2 hobs and ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 freezers and a fridge.  Cooking pots, crockery and cutlery are all provided.  There is a separate dining room and washing up area.

Male and female showers and toilets, and a single toilet on the top floor for night time visits.

Disabled access is catered for with stair lift, toilet and shower.

Joe Hall Chalet

This is a single story timber building accommodating up to 19. 

Accommodation

One dormitory of 12, and two rooms sleeping 4 and 3 respectively. 

Fully fitted kitchen and dining area.  Central heating and a toilet. Additional toilets and showers are located at Cadell House.

Camping

   Minimize

There are 10 different camp sites set within the boundaries of the site.  Each site is suitable for a patrol or larger group.  Alter or Half Drum fires are provided, with a plentiful supply of wood.  Water taps are provided at each site, as well as a wooden dining shelter.  Toilets and showers are located at Cadell House.

Indian Village

The Craigs now has a tented Indian Village available for groups to book. There are two Teepees which are decorated with traditional banners inside and can be used as meeting/activity areas. There is also a traditional totem pole.
